Default Traxxas maxx driveshafts for scx10 transmission

Which part number of traxxas output yokes I need to match scx10 stock transmission shaft and ar60 axle shaft?

I am going to use traxxas 4951X driveshafts.

4927 or 4928 will work. You will have to drill out the yoke for the round shaft and likely remove material to clear the scx trans case but they'll work well.

It isn't a diameter issue, the hole for the pin on you yoke is too deep so the yoke is against the trans case.

The hole for the output/pinion is 5mm already but it has 2 flat spots for the traxxas output. Easy to drill the flats out.

I have no idea why there are 2 part numbers but I've used them both.

I saw this build with these driveshafts and thought it would be a straight fit.Are there better cheap and light options for driveshaft in that kind of conversion?

4927 is the 5mm bore yoke for the trans to the diff. 4928 is the 6mm bore for the shafts from the diffs to the wheels.

So that's the difference, makes sense why some end up sloppier than others.

I have two questions.I have a pair of slw .350 hubs.It would be better to buy another .350 set for whole car with stock ar60 axles width or keep .350 for the rear and buy a pair of .475 for the front?
Also, never had a scx10 transmission and the one I bought comes without spur. How many teeth of spur/pinion it's a good start? The motor possibly will be holmes torquemaster expert 27t.
