Anyone tempted by the Labor Day sales on this truck. I have two unfinished kits and yet I’m drawn to this one at the sales price. Anyone going to buy one at this price? ![]() |

I bought mine at full price and it was well worth it. $399 is a damn good price for all that goes into that kit if you are thinking about buying one.

I was very tempted to buy one but as I'm getting back into the hobby after being out of it for 7 years and having two kids during said time. Now I'm having a ton of fun driving the trucks with the two kiddos and needed to buy a bunch of stuff to get things back in order. I decided on a TRX-4 kit mainly because it has way more of an aftermarket at this point. I picked up an Element Sendero RTR two weeks and after some tuning have definitely been impressed with it. So since that was normal axles the portals on the TRX-4 swayed me over. Portals just have a cool factor that I want to experience first hand. I want to see more of the Trail King's capabilities first. Everything I saw was just how it was a fun build. Nothing about how good it is yet. I could see picking one up around Thanksgiving or so though. |
