Portal axled tube framed chassis with 1.9 wheels. Lol. That would be such a troll job.

It would be so awesome if Traxxas blew us away with a tube framed rig or some other completely new scaler. I'm thinking it's going to be more of a basher, but I hope I'm wrong.

I have a hunch it's going to be a new mini or micro RC, but that's just a hunch out of thin air.

New Traxxas release announcement coming:

Everyone - I hope it is (insert favorite type of RC Traxxas doesn't currently make)

Traxxas (probably) - Announcing the totally new, never before done Nitro Stampede 4x4 RTR!

Does that mean they aren't having photos of the rig or that you can't take photos? :lmao:

I know at least one person will break that rule and we should have some photos today...

Womp, womp. New basher. Looks to be an E-Maxx replacement.

The Traxxas basher community has been aching for an E-Maxx replacement, so that's cool. I never had one, but I could see the appeal, being that it's bigger than a Stampede 4x4, but smaller than an X-Maxx.

Oh wow all new chassis too. This fella looks beefy!

Hopefully it’s less than $600

Hopefully it is beefy. Arrma gained popularity because of their durability. Traxxas needs to join that club with all of their vehicles. I hope this is an Arrma killer because the Arrma Army on Facebook is filled with the dumbest fanboys I've ever encountered.

Looks pretty bad ass for a basher. But I'm kinda over those.

I think it's just always been escalating since there's always a Youtube contingent that tries to keep taking the average jump farther and farther. I remember way back with the Savage Flux there was the one guy who did all the fixes and his Youtube videos were about 6S and 50+ ft jumps. Then the Thunder Tiger MT4 came out and was the new hotness and every release had to be compared to it. Then the MT4 slowly disappeared and the Kraton replaced it, pretty much only the ARRMA guys are left to boast about bashing I guess.

Having started with the original E-Maxx many years ago, this looks like a good fun replacement. Hopefully they included beefy diffs as that's what always broke on my Maxx's and Revo's.

Is "replacement" the right word though? Is the X-Maxx being discontinued?
Seems like they could continue to sell both like they did when they came out with the 1/16 scale versions of their 1/10 vehicles.

The X-Maxx is staying. This is a baby X-Maxx to replace the ancient E-Maxx.

Ah, that makes sense. The E-maxx has been around long enough for me to get nostalgic for the one I got rid of about 10 years ago :lmao:. Hey, maybe a bunch of good used ones will start popping up on ebay now!
