Dogbone end is not deeply enough engaged with stub axle at centered steering. Bone cross pin looks strangely worn too, almost as if it's rotating in the dogbone end, which it should not be. Pull it apart and see, post pictures please. Is that a Redcat or?

It is a RGT 136100 Rock Cruiser. I took the whole axel apart and I flipped the dog bones. I dont know if just pulling them out of the differential and putting them back fixed that issue but that seems better. Now that I did that and took it for small run around the lawn I have now found I have basically a LSD in the front.

I did notice when I took it apart that it was looking a little beat up in the inside, wish I would have taken pictures. Finding parts for this thing is a pain.

OK, sounds like the spool inside the axle is messed up, iirc the lockers are plastic? Probably the inner axle is slipping and rounding out the spool where it keys into it. Maybe can replace with an Axial part?

go to your car
pop the hood
put your hand on the intake manifold
rock the engine from front to back (if it rocks like a cradle)
then your dog bone is broken
