Default Non-matching suspension set-up

I've been toying with the idea of making my TRX4 bronco more scale accurate, already installed smaller tires and portal deletes. I was curious if any of the builders on here a done a half leaf spring/half coil over set-up with two different style axles (RC4WD K44/yota2 for example) similar to the 1:1 '79 Bronco. I can't afford an experiment like this ATM, is anybody willing to give it a try? Or can anybody point me to a thread where it's been done already?

I'm considering a similar idea. I just ordered a Trail Finder 2 kit w/Mohave II 4dr body. Was tiring with the idea of replacing the rear links with leaf springs. Technically, my options are leave the configuration "as-is", replace rear links with leaf springs, or replace front & rear links with leaf springs (obviously, the most "scale accurate" option, but also with the worst wheel travel). Suggestions, anyone?

I'd be interested in seeing your finished product either way.

Actually, I was just thinking about a couple things. First, as mentioned in my previous post, I'll probably never want to actually change the body. Second, I started thinking about wheelbase, and ground clearance, and realized the advantage of having a shorter wheelbase. So...I just cancelled my order for the 4dr version, and ordered the 2dr version. This will become my second crawler, after I finish building the Axial Capra (my first crawler).
