I have a landlocked corner in the back of my property behind my shop that I keep neglecting. It would make a perfect area for a course but i cant find the motivation. This thread may have been the kick in the pants i needed. Looks like i need to grab my shovel and pick up some portland cement and get to work

Looking very nice MV!

Thompson311 - The hardest part is starting, then it kinda becomes a mission! Plus, there is nothing better than having a good place to crawl and trail right out your back door.

Glad to see this thread provided motivation for your own crawler course Thompson311! Best of luck, post some pics.

Talk about a "winter wonderland". Not anything I'll get to see next to the Northern California coast.

Same for me, Panther. Don't get to see that type of scenery in Florida. It was awesome!

Wow @mv1985 such a great home crawler course!!! I have a trx4 blazer (for me) and a sport (for 8yr old son) ordered and should arrive Monday!!! Been an off and in rc short course guy as we have an outdoor track at local airport. This is first dip into crawlers. Been building wood obstacles from stakes n scrap wood in anticipation. Got a decent size backyard and space to build, once I heal up from part two knee surgery that’s happening beginning of July. Anyways thank you for the inspiration!!! Very cool!!! Taking notes!!

Very nice weather up there right now. Sadly the heat & humidity is just ramping up down here. Nice looking course, mv1985. Looks well designed & well executed.

Thank you Mewalsh100, ActonRC, triptherip, Mr. Blazer and high plains drifter for the compliments and support! Unfortunately, between work and life in general, and all the crap going on lately, I haven't done much to the crawler course lately, so it's looking more like a mini abandoned Jurassic Park Hopefully I can back into the swing of things soon.

My wife just helped me get started on a crawling spot in the yard. She actually found some rocks on fb market and suggested it. We are cleaning up a corner of the yard that we always ignored that will become a rock pile. She's talking about getting a pallet of rocks to add in. On top of all that, she's done almost all the work as I'm recovering from a recent back surgery.

I didn't get a proper before picture, but I got one just after I ran the weed eater over it all. 15+ years of tree debris, plus mulch I guess the previous owners used. It took 2 cans and 6 yard bags to clean everything out. I'll follow up with more progress as it's made.

Here's our first set of rocks. Not a lot, but its a start

Here's the overall area after the weed eater

Wife at work. Lol

We pulled these out of that area. This was all just buried in the mess.

I need to get a pic of the current state as it's just dirt now. My wife really busted her tail cleaning it out.

Looks like your off to a good start. You might want to start your own thread for your build so it doesn't get lost in this one. A admin might be able to move your post to a new thread for you too.

Either way we'll be watching your progress
