Twin Hammers kit?
 

Is this kit still being made and/or available new?
I am new to the hobby and in the UK and I can not find a kit anywhere,one LHS said its now unavailable,it was handled by Horizon Hobby in the UK.
is it sold under a different name perhaps around the world?

It's discontinued by Vaterra. You might find some new old stock on the shelf if you're lucky. To my knowledge the exact vehicle is not sold under another name elsewhere.

There are several cheap copies made, but they are not the same and don't use the same parts.

Good luck finding one. I looked for months before locating one. Found plenty of scam sites first...

the clones are everywere a realy cheap way to get in to the twin hammers world you can upgrade them with original twin hammers parts and slowly work your way up.or just run them the way they come i like mine but i just like looking at it i run it every now and again and nothings broken on it yet so im happy with it

As a Twin Hammer fan, please do not buy a clone. By the time you upgrade the shocks, ring/pinion, trans gears, and whatever else fails, you'd be better off starting genuine Vaterra. I got one of the first batch years as go. Like it so much I recently picked up another.

Plus the build is half the fun. As a 1:1 wheeler and a U4 dreamer the Twin checks all my boxes. I will say it is the type of truck (small fasteners, torque sensitive hardware in places) that I wouldn't trust a rtr, clone or genuine for that matter, to come properly assembled.

I suggest scouring for a kit. Post a wanted add here. Do the occasional Google search. They do exist.

There's a kit on Ebay right now, but I don't know if you'd be able to get them to ship it to the UK.

Can’t tell you how bummed the TH has been discontinued. When I die, I am going to be buried with all of mine....
