Default Element Trailwalker

So I bought a Trailwalker last night. Tested it out. It needs some suspension tuning. I had some Axial BFG Allterain tires and rims laying around put them on. It’s ok. Crawls better with more ground clearance. My local 4x4 shop is doing a competition . I showed up. The thing is SLOW next to any of the Axial products. Mine came with a 5 pole 16 turn motor. I’m running 2 cel LiPo 5200 mah batteries. Ideas I need speed and torque

3s would be a start and/or bumping up to a 3 slot 27t-30t area. Then there is brushless of course. You can play with gearing but you wont be getting any speed out of a 5 slot 16t even on 3s. Going to 3 s will help a bunch and if you have one sitting around might be worth a try.

A quick fast course with some small rocks. An obstacle bridge. Dirt. Nothing like some of the true rock crawls I’ve done.

I've got no complaints from my Sendero on 3S packs with identical electronics.

It's no speed demon, but these aren't rock racers, either.

2-speed TRX-4s will be quicker, of course - but at a much higher cost.

Also in the 3S NO LESS club. The wheelspeed is there if / when you need it.

I bought a 3s 4100 mah small battery. It woke that little truck up. Thanks.
