I been posting/asking the same thing in other threads. There's some theories...but, until the "official" announcement, 'theories' is all it'll be. ~ More peace, love, laughter & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |

Yeah, saw the teaser on FB and IG yesterday! I first thought it was the new portal axle for the VFD trans, but now I'm not so sure! I'm getting excited about this one! |

Whatever 'it' turns out to be (new kit, new axles for the VS4-10 Pro, etc), it obviously involves portal axles. Vanquish may have finally figured out a way to get a huge chunk of cash from me. ~ More peace, love, laughter & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |

I'll have to see what other changes they have made for this one, portals alone aren't enough to make me buy a 3rd Vanquish kit.

Well, there’s all the talk about the vanquish Capra axles coming and these sure looks to have the width. That pumpkin is in the right spot for the VFD output and that upper link mount fits the bill too. Thinking it could mean a good chance of something with the VFD and some Capra VP axles is coming our way. Chub design look great too, nice clearance there. |

I thought it was Capra axles this morning when I saw it on IG, but it would be cool to have a VS4-10 Pro with portal axles.

My gues is a VS4-10 Chassis with the VFD transmission and F9 Currie Portal Axles. I hope there's a new body but I'd imagine it is likely the Scout body.

I thought it was just new axles for existing VS4-10 when I saw it on IG. What's this about VS4-10 Ultra?

Honestly, I'm hoping it is a new kit, even if it's nothing more than the 'Pro', but with portal axles (although, if it is, I'm sure Vanquish would also sell (sooner, or later) the portal axles separately, for those who wish to upgrade their Origin/Pro). I had purchased the Pro, but returned it in favor of the Trail King...but, a portal-based VS4-10 would give me enough reason to purchase. ~ More peace, love, laughter & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |

Since some have mentioned about the possibility of Vanquish coming out with portal axles for the Capra, added to some having said the "sneak peek x appears to be Capra-width axles, this got me thinking. Curiosity has gotten ahold of this cat (as it often does). Since I don't have a VFD trans, this is directed at those of you who have both Capra and VS4-10 Pro. Just by chance, would there be enough room to mount a vfd on a modified-design Capra skid? Just think about it...if Vanquish designed a 'different' skid that would fit into the Capra cage/chassis, with a VFD mounted, and included machined portal axles, is there any possibility that this could equate to an "Ultra"? Sounds impossible, and it very well may be, but...curiosity. ~ More peace, love, laughter & kindness would make the world a MUCH better place |

That is something very possible to build as the VFD setup with the skid is still narrower than the capra skid, and there is ample room within. I dont think it is something they are after as I recall Brandons thread about their intentions with the VS410 is to have a modular system in which all their products (or most when looking into a "1.9 scaler" platform) will work together. So I think making a compatible setup designed for another manufacturers platform is not something they are interested in. But, since you brought it up that is somethin that would make another neat build. Say you wanted a narrower width than the capra (for whatever reason). You could run a capra cage, VFD on custom skid, and the new portals if they are narrower (only my assumption). I mean if youre wanting to compete, then it doesnt make a lot of sense because you are already a class 3. But for kicks it would make a slightly narrower more realistic looking trail rig/scaler... sounds cool to me atleast Anyway, I am excited to see what VP brings for 2020, along with others. But, VP has teased and talked a good bit of good stuff for this early in the year Ill be patiently waiting. EDIT: So i just measured and the VFD skid is 2mm narrower than the capra (78mm and 80mm)..... So its right on for a fun swap if youre interested!
