Default Anyone ever try this servo ? SPT Servo SPT5435LV-180 35KG

Hi,
Has anyone ever tried these SPT servos? I'm just curious to see if the torque is exaggerated or if it's a half decent servo.

I use those SPT 35kg servos. They've been great for me. I run them on 7.4v. Quiet, fast & powerful. Cheap enough to keep a spare or two on hand just in case.

Ordered one of these to try out since they're so cheap. I suspect they're the same as the Zoskay\Annimos\Hexfly ones and the 35Kg is really 20Kg

I have two of these... I doubt they make 20kg, nowhere near 35kg for sure. And the one in my TRX4 gets weaker and slower with runtime, after half an hour of crawling it's almost useless. I also have one in an EX Real, not sure if that one acts the same, I'll have to check.

Anyway, not better than your standard red chinese 20kg servos, possibly worse (might be a dud, the one I'm having trouble with).

Also, VERY not waterproof. No rubbers anywhere, take your truck for a little swim and it'll fill up with water

My favorite cheap servo,
https://www.ebay.com/itm/DS3225-25kg...EAAOSwYxRgDyO8
Very quiet and haven’t broken one yet. I have plenty of “not cheap, aka, Holmes, etc” servos in some of my rigs, but I have no problem with this $30 fella.

Yeah but with Aliexperss, you have to wait forever for shipping from China. You can get the same servo on Amazon (with Prime if you have it) for $20.

Dang it! I just got another one to put in my Cross KR4C. But I also got another Holmes SHV500V3 and a Send It RC Platinum HV626 on the way to try out also. Anyway, I know it’s hard to find products that aren’t made in a Wang Chung China, but I prefer to not have anything shipped direct from China if I can avoid it.

"Looking for a high toque servo. The new hv626 is the answer to that. working off the successful hv 458. We have came up with a super torque servo up to 626 oz. at a blazing speed of .085. Hv 626 is sure to meet any demand you through at it. Standard 25 tooth spline and expect the same reliability of the hv458 ."

The above text in quotation marks is a direct cut and paste from their website, full of spelling and punctuation errors.

Based on the lack of attention to detail there, I personally wouldn't have high hopes for that product...

Like I said, I’m willing to give it a shot for the price after discount. If it bites the weenie I’m a big enough boy to lick my wounds and move on.
