Steering Tie Rod Question Has anyone ever done something like this, use two tie rods? What are the pros and cons of it. Does it work better then having the drag link going from one wheel to the other?https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...1c0f7f4cb6.jpg Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk |
Re: Steering Drag Link Question I don't see any drag links in that pic. I do see what looks to be two half length tie rods. With a center mounted servo on axle this setup makes perfect sense. |
Re: Steering Tie Rod Question Are there any cons to running this type of setup? Would it make the steering more efficient? Sent from my LM-G710VM using Tapatalk |
Re: Steering Tie Rod Question Ive tried that years ago on a Wraith. Its hell on servos cause now each tire is trying to twist the horn seperately. It also results in ever so slightly different ackermann when at full lock from left to right. Wouldn't be be my first choice. |

Re: Steering Tie Rod Question I have two Wraith 2.2s. One setup with the two piece link and the other just one. Both are 4link, with servo on axle. The set up with 2 steering links does not turn NEARLY as well. |
