Default 9T pinion?

I found a 9t 32p Pinion for my TRX4, which is what I want, really low gearing.
But the gear is really small and look's like it wouldn't grip well.

Can I use this pinion?

Can't speak for the Robinson gear, but I do run a Traxxas 9T pinion. A number of in-stock sellers on eBay.

I’ve run both the Robinson and Traxxas 9t. No issues running either.

Although the Traxxas seems to be quieter with less gear noise than the Robinson.

Functionality wise, I found no difference between the 2.

I run 9t pinion gears on all my TRX4s and the Robinson gear works just fine with the 45t spur gear. The stock Traxxas 6745 9t pinion does seem to be a bit quieter than the Robinson.

Is the Traxxas one any wider then the robinson one? I have 2 of the Robinson ones, but they are a touch narrower then my spur gears (so is their 10t).
