Rear sway bar provisions in place. Depending on ring & pinion ratios I'd have no problem dropping a dlux'd ar60 out back for queer steer.

Looks like the same ratio as the ar60 but beefier gears.

If took pictures of my computer for anyone that wanted to know gearing.

Diffs look like the regular Axial diff. A little silly putty or extremely high vis diff fluid would work in them.

I'm kind of disappointed that it's a 2.2 rig. Those have virtually fallen out of style and demand. I still may eventually get one, but I was hoping it was a 1.9 rig.

I just caught up and watched some videos and while I'm not that interested in a bouncer I do like it and I think it's pretty well thought out.

Being 4S capable is a surprise and pretty awesome.

I think the open diffs are a great starting point too and I know some folks are dissapointed but lets be real its a basher and its not gonna be going slow and fully locked it'd be traction rolling all over the place. I'm guessing the 2 year warranty is a factor there as fully locked is more likely to be breaking things.

The 2 year warranty itself is a bit of a surprise not that I'm one to use warrantees, but it is kind of impressive. I guess it speaks to their confidence in this rigs durability.

I think if I did go for one I'd be totally fine with the RTR electronics. It seems like a decent setup for what its intended.

EDIT: oh and I'd love to see it go compete with the guys who already run RC bouncer events with super custom rigs, I think it should do well.

I agree with Humbolt I would go RTR all the way but just because I am clueless with regards to a 4s setup and don’t think you could get that done cheap enough to make it attractive. I like the black cage, orange one looks like a toy.

I won’t be buying a new rig until around March but this one is now on my list in the basher category as front runner.

Right, that's why they spent all the money on design and r & d to make it. . 2.2 rigs are still popular as ever, 1.9 rigs are just more popular but 2.2 hasn't gone anywhere at all.

It looks like an upgraded and unfawked bomber that will probably be less top heavy once the ridiculously long shocks are tossed out.

I have an Exo Terra, Wraith, Yeti and Bomber all collecting dust at this point. My kid and I take the Wraith and Bomber out once or twice each summer.

Somehow I figure I want one of these

It is cool looking rig and kinda neat to see Axial continue the tradition of their 2.2 releases, but yeah it would have been more intriguing to see this scaled to an SCX10. I still have a 1.9 Wraith on my shopping list.

Does it really matter on 4s with a long van bouncing rocks? Does seem tall geared though. 17tooth pinion can be brought down quite a few.

This is the first RC I've decided I'm buying without having to think about it, looks fun asf. My luck FOFF will be released next and I'll need that too!

After watching Harley’s video, here are my initial thoughts in the random order in which they appeared in my twisted and wordy mind.

1. Why is there no LS engine molded into the battery hold down hood? Missed scale opportunity here. Never fear, your favorite, 3D printer will most likely try to rectify this.

2. Sway bar mounts seem a little spindly. The hole is so close to the edge of the mounting tab! Hopefully they don’t easily tear off of the cage.

3. The skid plate is huge. I wish it was smaller.

4. Virtually no extra parts are included in the RTR which is odd for Axial, but not a big deal. I rarely used that stuff anyway. But they didn’t even include an 8mm cross wrench for newbies? That’s just cost cutting to the point of being cheap especially at this price point IMO.

5. I love that the pumpkin covers are metal out of the box!

6. Tires look great, but Axial/Horizon rubber RTR compounds have never been good. They freaking own Proline now so they have no excuse for poor tires. The kit version should include these tires in G8 compound.

7. Shock design looks great. Bleeder screws FTW! Very long, but they fit the style of this rig.

8. The included telemetry radio is awesome, but even that won’t get me to switch to Horizon’s terrible battery plugs.

9. Axles look great and the 4-gear open diff is promising. The integrated servo mount is a good idea on this truck and it appears to put the servo in a great location. But if you plan to use them on other vehicles it’ll potentially be problematic in terms of suspension interference with the chassis, etc.

10. Out of phase driveshafts on an RTR is poor execution. Axial problems made their way to Horizon.

11. It does sit very high.

12. Hooray for a standard battery tray unlike the undersized disaster in the Capra.

13. Torque twist looks terrible and the swaybar needed to be included from the factory.

14. The tube chassis is sick. This is what the Wraith should have been. The orange looks great. If it looks like a toy (it is a toy) then so do all painted tube chassis.

15. A metal motor plate is correct, period.

16. It should be smaller and a 1.9 rig.

17. It seems that this manual will also get revised quickly unless Harley got a pre-production kit. No gear chart really is inexcusable.

18. No portals! Yay! Can I get an amen?

19. It looks awesome. I want the kit in orange. Hopefully the kit isn’t only grey and/or black. I really want to build one and drive it.

I don’t want to be a Debbie downer, but for me it just meh.

Never been a fan of bouncers to begin with. The over stylized jungle gym look just isn’t to my liking.

Lots of positive attributes for sure, it just doesn’t push any of my buttons.

Maybe if it sat a bit lower and was 1.9 based, I’d go from meh to maybe? 🤣

Anyways, different strokes...

Agree with jato on the kit, itshould come in all 3color choices. Id rather have the orange one in a kit. But looks like ill have to settle for rtr. Stock electronics will definantly go, not goina swap over to "smart tech" batts.

N it would have been a nice touch to see a faux LS under the hood to help hide the batt too.
