All axle width info...

So while looking for some info for a upcoming build I thought to myself "wouldn't it be nice to have all the axle width info for all the vehicles associated with RC crawling, scalers, Ultra4, bouncers, ETC??"

I know this was tried before back in like 2008 but I feel that with all the newer trucks this seriously needs an update. And YES, I know how the search button works. But with that said I hate the search function on RCC, I feel I get too many Random results most of the time.

So Ill start with the ones that I know of so far as well as list some I feel should be added to the list. Ill update the main post as more info is posted. Also if someone could pin this as a "sticky" that would be cool.

Feel free to add any vehicles I missed in my suggestions or if I am wrong about something.

Re: All axle width info...

Element Enduro straight axles are the exact same width as the AR44s

Just for the Axial portion I think it would be simpler to list by axle designation since they use them on several rigs (AR44,AR45, AR60 etc)

Just opinion here, but I think a list of axle widths would be better if it had aftermarket widths since most guys wanting to modify one of the trucks on this list already own it (brand to brand swaps are kind of rare, never see someone wanting Gen8 portals on a 10iii), or are looking for a one-off setup, or are using a tried/true axle like an AR44. I would be more interested in seeing the width of say a Pro44 compared to a Boom Racing PHAT or Vanquish Rock Jocks/V2s or the like if I was building a one-off rig.

SCx10-iii AR60's 7.4375 (7 7/16)

I don't have calipers wide enough so had to use a tape measure so might not be 100% accurate

I do like the idea of listing aftermarket axles as well. My thoughts for whole list/stock rigs would be in the case that someone was considering buying or using a certain rig for a certain purpose and needed to stay within a width to fit a certain body, class, etc. I know certain ultra 4 classes have strict width measurements. As well as if you were wanting to build a class0 or class1 truck and wanting the narrowest axle setup possible. Or if someone was considering doing a wide XR mod and didn’t want to buy the parts without being able to compare first. Things of that nature.

Re: All axle width info...

This is from the other thread. Yours is called 'all axle width' and that one is called "width of all axles" haha. Is a sticky in one of the other forums. But definitely needed updating with the newer rigs.

TLT: 7 1/4''
TXT: 9 3/4"
High Lift:
Clod: 9 3/4''
AX-10: 7 9/16"

PTI:
E-Maxx: flat 14 7/8"

That's funny that someone was asking on that thread right after I started this one. That was the thread that I was referring to in my original post. Ill start updating this one again with some of that information as well. My goal is to have all the info laid out in one post in possible alphabetical order for Make/Model. I appreciate all the info everyone has posted up so far.

Might be able to create a 3rd one, call it something like "Axle Width Master List", and have Admin delete the other 2. They are both a little messy but that's what happens with things like this.

Re: All axle width info...

Howdy all,

Does anyone know if the Vanquish Capra F9 axles are the same track width as the Axial Capra axle? I can't seem to find that specific info. I'm guessing that it is, but I just want to double check.

Thanks!
