I don’t think there is any reason to worry about it. Post it wherever you would like. A mod with inevitably create a sub forum and move all of the Ryft threads to it. Happens every time there is a rig with enough interest to warrant its own piece of real estate .

Crawl on, crawl on.

Just picked up a Ryft today. Time to get a forum going mods!

This thing is everything the Yeti was supposed to be, and wasn't. I have one of those too.

Mostly 'ditto'. Pre-ordered the kit. Will either be using a Mamba X (which I already have), or Copperhead 10. Still undecided on motor. Have more than a few receivers & servos (for steering) on-hand, and the Power HD TR-4 servos (1 for 2-speed, the other two for micro-scale boats) are being delivered today. Also ordered (from Vitavon Racing) machined axle set, steering knuckles, & rear trailing arms.

Now, just have to wait until May 24-ish for the kit to be delivered. No worries, though, as I have other projects...and my job...keeping me quite busy.

Agree! The Ryft needs a separate sub-forum.

There already is...and had been since the day after this thread was created. It's in the "2.2 Scale Rigs" section, and currently has almost 200 replies.

I'll throw my plus 1 into the Ryft need. I'd like to see/start a thread about getting a Ryft kit and building it myself. This will be my first RC car in 30 years and I know I want a Ryft with a smoother motor and transmission so I don't get the twitchiness I hear everywhere else. I was considering RTR but that seems like I'm getting things I'll just turn around and replace if I do that.
