TRX4 Sport and Tekin ROC412 HD?

Hey guys I want to put a ROC412 HD in my TRX4 Sport. It looks like it will fit to me but I'd like to know for sure before I order one. Could someone that has done this let me know if it will fit, thanks.

Since the trx4 comes with a closed endbell 550 motor, I cannot see why a Roc 412 won't fit?

This could be why nobody responded. I was also going to state the obvious that with the Tekin motor being 550 size there’s no reason that it “shouldn’t” fit, however I have not personally used this motor in a TRX4. On the other hand, if you would’ve asked “opinions” on whether or not it would fit you likely would’ve gotten a lot of responses, all of which would’ve likely said it should fit. We were just respecting the specificity of your question

Well, the Holmes 550 brushed motors are obviously known to fit - here's the size comparison:

Tekin Motor Length: 62.5mm

Holmes Brushed 550 Motor Length: 57mm

You'll have to trim a little off the shock tower or body mount, whatever I had to trim was at the end of the motor but it wasn't major. It's been a long time since I did it
