I looked at the SCX6 at one of my local shops Sunday and I agree, it felt heavier than 25lbs to me too.

I like it! Although I would have to come up with a different body to replace that JLU. I'm a Jeep guy but I feel the JK/JL line has been over done. I think I'd like to see Axial super-size the Blazer or C10 for this.

I know the tires are 7" but what size are the rims? I'm curious to see what sized rim they're actually scaled to and if they could be used on future 1/6 scaled vehicles.

Some of those old summit tires might look good on this, like the boggers, I think, not sure on the proportions though. And those electronics shoulda been crammed into the ryft.

If RC was still my primary hobby, I'd be on the hook for one. My UDR was a blast, so I've seen how much fun large scale RCs can be. And West Desert Wheeler's running video would have sold me.

But dirtbikes, surfing and 5 kids will stop me from dropping $1,100 on a rig when I know I can't resist dropping more money on upgrades. Hell, $2,000 could snag me or my son a different dirtbike. Not that we need those either...

Aside from those, I'd probably do what most of us do; buy one, put less than 50 batteries through it, and sell it if it didn't tickle my fancy. In fact, maybe I'll just wait until some of you guys sell yours... I'll give you $500 for it as soon as you get it home from the hobby shop!

Who even has tracks big enough for these? It would almost be worth it to go to the woods and crawl on the trail!

No way, man. It's scary out there. Nothing but indoor tracks for me.

I’d have a blast driving one up here. Places to climb at pretty much every turn.
We usually camp at a gravel pit at least a couple times a summer and it would be a blast for the family to drive around.

Axial did a very good job on this beast, large scale is always more fun and more realistic. This has same wheelbase with my extended chassis Yeti XL.Since I locked the front and rear diffs and converted it to a scale crawler I enjoy more than before.
