Default Help 1/24 crawler Hardbody plans

Hi!
Soo... I'd like to know what you guys think would be the best base for a 1:24scale hardbody conversion. I plan on using a Revel/Amt kit and some sort of mini/micro crawler. I have been looking at Axial scx24 and ftx outlander mini 3.0. I realy like the Axial but the scale seems too big if I dont want to make a Monster Truck. Are there any other options that might be better?

I wouldn't go with the SCX24, partially because it uses worm gear drive. if you want something that will go fast, then you don't want the SCX24. I would reccomend this: RC Truck. It is 1/18 scale, but it can easily be made into 1/24 scale with smaller tires. It has been one of the most reliable small-scale RC cars I have. I'd look it up. I'm also thinking of designing some 3D printed parts to make it into SOA.

the losi micro crawlers are smaller by just a little bit but they dont make them anymore and they will still kinda have the monster truck look though and they havent made them for a long time they do make clones though
here is one clone thats vary close to the losi size most of the rest are scx24 size

they do make scale chassies for these so if you can work with that size tire than your in luck

Thank you! After reading a little about it I bought the SG1801. They are ridicolusly cheap so what do I have to lose. From what I can tell the chassie seems almost identical to Ftx Outlander/cr24?

Hi guys! So I got it home and after a short testrun I began cutting it up. Very pleased with the truck tho. It performs very well for the price! I started a new post for the project here:
