Default Transmission Direction with Portals

Greetings all,

For some reason I have it in my head that when switching from standard axles to portals, you need to flip the transmission. Is this actually the case or do I have my wires crossed.?

Thanks.

The rotation of the wheel is reversed due to the change to a portal axle. I would think reversing motor direction would be the easiest thing to do to maintain the original direction of rotation.

A brushed setup, u can swap wires. On a brushless setup, just change any 2 wires. If its a sensored brushless setup, go into the settings n change the motor direction from there. No need to flip the trans to change direction
