No, it’s turned like that because of the bolt pattern in the tgh skid. I didn’t want to drill new holes, although I very easily could. They send you with a carbon fiber template. Other than upsetting my ocd, it should perform just fine Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’m charging batteries now, to go out. Put some stock ssd portal gears in the rear last night with some tgh wild overdrive gears up front. I’ll report back this afternoon Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I got a solid couple hours of run time in before the rain shut us down and I tell you.. I’m stoked on this trans. It was absolutely perfect. The truck was very successful today and I couldn’t be happier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

That’s awesome. I’m pumped to finish this build. 3 questions. 1, how was the wheel speed. 2 what pinion did you use. 3 (maybe too soon to tell) do you think it will survive a shred the ledge? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m running a 13t pinion and could probably jump to 14t or maybe 15t but it was cold and wet today, and I never felt like I need THAT much more wheel speed. I’m running a crawlmaster mini and 1800kv standard revolver v2. And shred the ledge? If you mean longevity, Dlux makes some killer parts and granted I’m fairly easy on my rigs, I suspect this will be the last transmission I put in this truck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That's great that it's working out. I'm definitely interested in one for my G-Shot.

Glad it’s panning out for you. I definitely don’t doubt the quality of dlux parts. I’m not very gentle though so the 48p has me a little worried. I have a 2500 snub nose v2 revolver going on this one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lashlee, I definitely recommend it. And for what it’s worth, my buddy ran a hamberger transmission from them with some pretty high kv stuff and he was not easy on them. He shredded some pinion gears but never a gear in the trans. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I already have the portal transmission sitting on my bench. Just waiting on the rest of the parts before I start putting the rig together. I was just trying to figure out worst case scenario for the new tranny. I appreciate the input. Not many of them floating around yet. I think there gonna take right off in the build community though. Yea you can mount it any way that it will fit. It doesn’t have overdrive so you’ll be good to go. I’m running it with Capra axles so center pumpkin Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

For all of you recommending the fmm/creeper t combo, does the fmm fit in a scx10 ii chassis or are there mounts for it? I can’t find anything about this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

| Re: Transmissions You'd have to get creative to make it work in a stock 10.2 chassis. I've directly bolted one up in a CCW reaper, and I can assume it fits the tgh chassis. I've also put one in a gspeed, with their mounting brackets.
