|  Axial AR45 axles and TRX4 transmission compatibility
Hi folks. I'm planning on building a custom LCG truck. Would anyone know if I can run Axial AR45 axles off a TRX4 single speed transmission? I know Harley Designs has posted information on running TRX4 portals off an Axial tranny, but I haven't found any info of doing it the other way around. Any suggestions in this regard?

That combo could end up having a bit of a too high gear ratio, without the portal reduction.

I am running Element Axles with a TRX4 sport transmission... I swapped to the 45 tooth spur, and dropped to a 10 tooth pinion, and it works fine. You end up losing the gear reduction of the portals, but a low enough pinion makes it work. |
