Default Using TRX4 centre driveshaft on Axial AR45 axles

I want to use TRX4 centre drive shafts on Axial AR45 straight axles, but found the grub screw holes on the output shaft and the drive shaft misalign slightly. Any suggestions on how to make these fit?

I’ve used them, but had to dremel the end of the pinion gears until everything lined up.

I’ve since switched to just buying axial wildboar hd shafts from dismantlers on eBay. Or sometimes Phoenix driveshafts can be had for a reasonable price.

The other option is to modify the driveshafts and not the pinions, which is what I did. It's about 2mm off of the driveshaft end, and just flattening the top of the CVD ball.
The stock pieces are on the right, modified on the left.
