It would be squishy with available room on the frame on 1.9’s (2.2’s have just a bit more room to play with) but a double dig unit similar to a doubler on 1:1.

Axial SCX10 III Bronco + SSD Manual Locking Hubs.

It includes everything needed to make the transmission 2 speed. And it already has the axles that the locking hubs fit in.

2 speed with selectable 2WD / 4WD.

I've seriously been considering upgrading mine to brushless / sensored because it's that much fun at speed. Or maybe I'll just gear up... probably cheaper.

Are you sure they work with 10.3 straight axles?... I was under the impression they only worked with the offset ssd axle housings. the 10.3 axles are more offset than the ssd's. I would love to be able to use them with my VFD twins, to make 2wd work better, but ssd axles aren't offset enough.

Oh yeah, my Bronco has the stock 10.3 straight axles.

I put the SSD Manual Locking hubs in mine, and they work great.

These are what I used:

PARTS FOR SCX10 IIIManual Locking Hubs for SCX10 III Straight Axle

Noted. Thanks!

Anyone know if they'll work in Vanquish offset axles?

I think I have what you need if you want a TRX with 2WD 4WD t-case. Check out Ampro Engineering's install video. https://youtu.be/IvJH1Fw5dPM.

Yes! It looks like he has a website coming soon for it. This is something I've been interested in for years, remote selectable 4WD in a TRX4. Very excited that something will be available.

There's a discord with photos too. Trx4 transfer case upgrade. https://discord.gg/eRrdUwuxVa

And to go 1 step farther, I think it’s be cool to have Remote locking rear diff, 2WD/4WD AND a 2speed. Probably asking too much but it would definitely be cool. I’m not even sure if you could fit that all in one transmission readily available on the market right now.

Panther6834 how do you do 2WD/4WD on a TRX4 trans? I need to know for research purposes…lol

This is one of the options I like the most about my Traction Hobby Cragsman.
