Omg I'm curious now, I'd buy that if it's smaller than 1/6

The guy I bought my sherp from was starting to make the same thing. I wonder if it is the same guy.

While I think it's unlikely, it would be cool if this floated on water like the 1:1.

That’s the biggest question I have. I’m hoping somewhere between 1:10 or 1:12

If it is the same as mine it is around 1/10 Scale and it does float.

That's impressive that they can get everything sealed up well enough to not take on water around the axle shaft openings. Hope the KK version can do this as well. I may have to order one for when we camp at the lake.

Finally found some more info on the SHERP (no A like in the title )

Model data (mm):

Lower hull width: 147.85 - 158.87
Wheelbase: 220
Height: 271.59
Wheel diameter: 180
Ground clearance: 70.79
Length: 393.49
Overall width over tires: 296.47
Body width: 276.20

Drive:

- three engines of 540 size
- one in the middle only for driving straight forwards and backwards
- one left and one right for cornering
- Engines with adapter gears and cardan shafts on one axis
- Two toothed belts then go from the drive axle to the second axle
- the toothed belt has a tensioning roller on the chassis
- Metal chassis
- known pin and hex driver

In my opinion, the lower hull looks very well thought out and stable. I look forward to more detailed photos.

Link on Aliexpress - https://m.aliexpress.us/item/3256804...andl_shipto=US

I plan to order one and will post a build thread here, however I’m not going to preorder from Aliexpress or pay that shipping fee

I can't understand why they put an extra motor to go forward/backwards? RC tanks do that with 2 motors. If the problem is using a pistol radio, there's ESCs for that or just simply 2 ESCs + a V-tail mixer...

Yeah that has kind of put me off of these as well. Already saw one guy on youtube shred a diff on one of his first few runs.

I actually love my original Kyosho blizzard drivetrain. Single motor with open diff and servo driven brake rotors on each side
