Last night, I went to a Toyota Rock Crawler's Club meeting and met my buddy over there. He showed me his newly, redesigned Maxx based crawler. Savage shocks in the front and....are you ready?.........no suspension of any kind in the rear, not even dampers. All he had in the rear was a torsional sway bar. So much for the discussion of, for or against sway bars. Tons of travel and it worked as well as anything I have ever seen! I wish I would have brought my camera because it would have made a believer out of anyone. He will be attending the Colorado Event on the 19th and I will get pics of his rig then. He also had a tricked out TLT with a lengthened wheel base, 2.2 Masher 2k's, etc, etc, etc. It also worked really well.

When I was in Montrose, there were about 30 vehicles there, some of the biggest names in 4 wheeling. I counted about a dozen vehicles with Currie Anti-Rocks on them. Just goes to show that there is room for all kinds of suspension designs.

I'm no expert, but I've been in Bars Swaying, does that count?

Actually, yes, "swaying in bars" counts and is a very good technique when trying to impress trashy women!

well I was running a sway bar on the rear of my maxx/factor with jumbo kongs. I notice it worked great up rocks but made things worse going down rocks cause the front would compress too quick and endo. I tried front and rear sways but something wasn't right, felt like it was binding and too resistant to flex. "work in progress"
