so i am trying to make links but i am having problems. ok i have looked and looked through this site and all i have seen is well i made my links to about 6 1/2 inches and i am like ok what about thickness of rod. so then i keep looking no luck. but then i find it once, 5/16, so then i looked at onlinemetals.com to search for the rod and thickness to see what it would cost well they have 3/8 and 1/2 for 70-75 aluminum rod now should i buy it smaller then 5/16 or bigger?3/8 or 1/2 thats the question. plus would i use the same ballends for both rods? if not which ones would i need for 3/8 and 1/2.thanks for the help and 6 1/2 inches for a link sound good? i saw it a few times
