Default 2.2 droop ride height

yo dudes,

i'm thinking about changin up the suspension on one of my rigs to a droop setup. at full compression it has about 2" of chassis ground clearance, which looks like its pretty good for a 2.2 but i figured i'd ask some of you with some droop experience to let me know what your clearance is.

i kinda searched. just honestly didnt feel like browsing umpteen threads.

I've not really measured it with a tape since being finish. I got a couple pics thought that might help.

If I were to guess at it,it's a shade over 3" under the belly. With droop, you can run a slammed rig since the axles fall when you get high centered. The biggest thing IMO,is keeping the weight up towards the front and below the tops of the tires. That'll keep your weight low and even the taller rigs will still sidehill good.

thx dudes!

another droop question, do you have it so the axles fully droop under thier own weight or just a little? in other words, when you pick it up about how much do the axles drop?

just tryin to get a rough baseline to start from. the rockcock might go droop.

that is a matter of taste and driving style... some people run internal springs in thier shocks to keep the axles somewhat "undrooped" others, myself included, run thicker shock oil so the axles drop slowly under thier own weight.

there are a couple of really good threads and droop suspension tech- just hit up the search button.
