Default Lock Snot, Diff lock

Anybody using or have tried Lock Snot? I have a little jar of it and I am building a solid axle basher. Is it worth my time, or should I just lock em up solid? I want to be able to crawl and I don't know how much it will unload on me when a tire gets into the air.

I just tried a hilift axle that was filled with it, seemed like it wouldn't crawl well.

Just add more cells, or beers if need be.

Fish is using something that he got from Toyofast. The diff stay locked unless it's totally bound up.

My boy Charlie uses it in his Wild Dagger diffs. Works good for that application, saves the dogbones when a tire gets bound up. Still get posi under normal conditions. Once you put it in tho, forget re-using the parts

My ears were burning..... Okay.. there were two versions of the Lock-Snot.

First version is the Aussie made stuff, the stuff that worked GREAT and never had an issue with. You could re-use it later with ease, not too messy when removing and clean.

Second version was our(RCRG) US version and it sucked. It didn't work well, was messy and didn't work worth a damn when warm.

If you were lucky and got some of the (MTPA)Aussie stuff be sure to hang onto it. If you received some of the US type stuff, toss it

I've lost contact with the old owners of MTPA after the buyout back in 2005 and never got more of the goo.
