| Upper shock mount ball mount w/out ball end shock!
Hi guys just came up with a way to mout shocks that do not have a ball mount on the top, like a ball mounted shock! Just figure I would post it up it may help some one! I spent hours trying to figure out a way to make the upper shocks move freely when twisting and still be solidly mounted! Just used 3/16 brake tubing for the mount, ran a small screw through the tubing and used the ball end of a shock as the nut. then mounted the shock to that! Now the shock has all range of motion due to being mounted to the ball. |

Yeah I've been doing that too. TLT Newbie Question It works great so far. I did have to drill out the rod ends to accept 6mm screws. That worked better. Looks good. |
