Jesse you been a very busy guy. Your tuber build is awesome! I did not know you where building a 2.2 tuber. You really put a lot of hours in that, great work buddy. Hopfully we will get in some crawl time to test it out.

Yea I get paid again on the 11th. So I will get that powder coating system, some powder, and a steering servo. Cause that S3003 just aint gonna get it. And I need to get my Ramcharger in the shop. Because I still can't narrow down that half throttle stalling issue. I'm wishing I had paid more attention in auto shop when they were teaching us about carbs.:?

Well my 1:1 had a streched timing chain. Will be fixed on a not so cold day this week. My comp rig testing is complete.

Well, The Hotness has color it took a while. I still need to finish the axle mounts, I'm going with a Matte Black for the axle and servo mounts. Azure Blue for the chassis and link tubes. And Luminier Silver for the body panels. And any opinions on the rims? I was thinking, blue rings, black hubs and silver screws. Or silver rings , blue screws, and black hubs. (the last combo being the easiest.)

Even though you built it as a comp tuber, it looks like a buggy one would drive as a full size, Boggers and all.

The color looks really good.

Thank you sir. I used this design with the thought that if it was good enough for real comp why not for a scale comp. The rig works well, and I cant wait to run a set of Krazy Krawler tires on it.

I got them off Ebay. They are Avectoi Sub Cs 7.2 volt 3500 NiMH. I have had them for over a year now and they seem to be holding up real well. I do plan on going to a 3s lipo setup, but it is cost prohibitive at this point. I will have to wait for my taxes to come back. Then I guess I will help out the economy.

Well all most done just waiting for my deans connectors to show up and solder them on the rig and batteries.. For now I will use a Tamiya pigtail for power. Here is some pics of how I laid my electronics in. I will tidy the wires up with convoluted tubing as usual. Then just saving for the lipo setup, and install the interior.
