Default ** Newbie giveaway, star or no star ok **

This giveaway is open to all NON STAR having newbies with join dates AFTER 07/01/07.

What:

We will award prizes to 2 winners, if we can find 2 people we feel meet the rules for the giveaway as listed below. Both winners will receive 1 year gold star memberships, and have RCC sticker packs sent to them.

Why:

We know there has to be some smart newbies out there, we know you can do it.

When:

Winners will be announced 1/10/08.

How:
  1. You must have a join date AFTER 7/01/07.
  2. You can have a star, or no star. If you have a star we'll upgrade you to gold for a year. If you have gold we'll extend it for a year.
  3. To enter the contest you must post a link in this thread to YOUR build thread. We dont want to see lame build threads with no pics, we want quality threads with measurements, photos, specs, questions being answered, ect.
  4. You can use a build thread you have already posted, or you can feel free to start a new one before this contest ends.
  5. Winners will be chosen by Badger and myself on whatever we think are the highest quality build threads......notice I said quality of the thread, not quality of the build. We are trying to promote newbies to start posting quality threads and quality tech.

Note:

This thread is only for people to post the links to their build threads in, following the above guidelines. If you don't follow those guidelines your post will be deleted.

Good Luck.

No, actually you're not. The directions clearly state that your join date has to be AFTER 7/1/7.

I joined in here August 30th 2007, here is my build thread below. There is 3 pages to view. Parts listing on post number 1, which I need to update a few more parts onto it I think.

Nerve's WK Crawler Build

It has been dormant for the past few weeks due to christmas and waiting on some M3x25 hex screws to come in. I ran out of 20mm+ length screws... LOL. So the "roller" pics on page three, the screws are only 16mm long and arent long enough for lock nuts to be attached.

Now that holidays are over, I should have some free time to start working on it again and get it into a complete rolling phase. Then comes electronics install and grappler body.

I have tried to include as much info into that build thread as I could. You will notice is there " lotsa pics of the nasty " (ala Eeepee)..

Thanks for a chance also ...

Did you even read the first post in this thread at all?

Is this all the response we're going to get for this thread?

Out of the 1000's of newbies that have joined since July there are only 10 that have done build threads?

Agreed... I was starting to wonder the same thing. I thought this thread would have at least been swamped with a few pages of legit build thread postings.

I guess all the newbs posts are all over the place and wouldnt classify them as a build thread.

COME ON NEWBS ! ... Get your build threads posted up !
