Default Check out this 1:6 crawler

First, let me say that this is not my truck, but I think it's worth posting in here. Just check the pics.

Looks like somebody dug through the trashcan...

Unfortunately, while it's big, it's also probably super heavy (the center of gravity will be waaaay to high), it's gas powered, and looks like someone pretty much raided the dumpster behind a lawnmower parts store to build it. Size-wise, it is impressive though. What you will find is that huge rigs are on the out, and nitro (or gasoline in this case) power is useless for crawling. No offense to your intent in posting though...

Sure, it may not be a competition level rig, but it would still be fun to mess around with. And it actually looks pretty cool all painted up.

you could use snowblower tires. they're about 12" tall with a 4 inch rim, and have nice big lugs for traction.

My little rig... Specs, Tube frame, homemade steel axles(angle grinde gears), Chain Drive Transfer Case, 32:1 gearing, chainsaw motor(2,5hp), 4 wheel drive, FG 1:5 shocks, 42kg steering servo and 10" tires. Top speed about 20km/h =)

thatd been cool if you put oe of them like 5 or 7 hp dual thingy airplane motors u know its like 2 motors connected at the case airplane motors on. not good for crawling but it would have been cool. and take a look at some billet, bigfoot goped wheels/tires for it.

LMFAO, nice. you could make a nice brake set up with this stuff http://custompeds.safeshopper.com/4/105.htm?380 . and mab even a super nice shock set up if you buy 2 and stip off the shocks and keep the rest as spares. that is if you have money to fo that . and i was talking about a tire/rim like so http://www.davesmotors.com/store/product771.html

I think you shoud use some bike tires and rims. The smallest they come is 12 inches i think. Also some gas shocks would be awesome! You can find some at www.mcmaster.com

Dude that thing looks like so much fun. Have you thought of useing a fourstroke weed eater type motor. smaller and lighter.

awesome!!! thats so cool. one hint though you have plenty of room on the chassis so mount the batts lower on the chassis. Also if that thing flips that motor is gonna just break off.
