| Coming back to Trail
I took a breather from rcing for awhile. Got into photography. Now i regret selling everything and need to build a rig. soon. I love the bruiser hybrids and thus will take that route. The terrain around my place is mostly trail, occasional rocks. So the hardbody wont be an issue. Since ive been out of the seen for around 4 months i need to know some things. Is the Chino plate for the bruiser frame still available and will this work with the rc4wd replica frame? To get the body i am going to buy the new highlift. This will give me axles. hardware. wheels and tires. etc. I would ditch the tranny and opt for the R2 but is there still a demand for the highlift tranny? I remember seeing these go for around 100 dollars. If this is still the case it would help me out a lot. If anyone wants to see my photography, check out my flickr. www.Flickr.com/photos/thomasferrer |

I would imagine you could still find a chino skid somewhere if not just make one. And as far as I know the rc4wd chassis is a replica so its got all the same holes and all. As for the 3speed tranny, I see them on ebay all the time for $60+ hope this helps.

RCP still sells my design trans mount/skid plate. Better call or email RC4WD on the dimensions. The original frame is 121mm wide if I remember correctly.

yes, the Chino skid from RCP will work on the RC4WD bruiser chassis. I have a buddy who is building a scaler with that combo right now.
