OK got outa work early but im still on the clock that rocks ...first impressions on the kit are good stock shocks will b for sale very stiff internal springs my b ok with no springs and a heaver oil but i got the 90mm dual rate ones on the way so we will see ...
front leafs need a fue washers to space things out correctly no big deal ...
the issues lie in the new hilux body doesn't fit the best rear posts dont line up and it sits way to high for the slingers .... crushers are on ther way as well .. the front post is kinda wacked also the frame looks like it will hit the grill i don't have yet to ...
with the exception of the very stiff stock suspension the kit rocks for the price ... the machine work on the d 40s is well dun and looks very good and the chase is well made shouldn't b an issue to put custom bumpers on at all ... here are some pic of what i got finished tonight ....

frame and axles no shocks

with the shocks mounted ... wow its super stiff

hers a shot of the body sittin on the stock mounting hole (look at the back tire )

fendar rubs as well

just a fue shots i will get it all squared away and post again soon ...

final answer i like it just a fue things to make it into a sweet azzz trail rig .... no worries if it was all easy it wouldnt b any fun now would it ...

Looks like if you ran a taller front mount and bigger tires it would line up pretty good, hard to see what they were goin for with the stock mounts, i thought they looked a little off in the website pics, i've heard the shocks will loosen up a bit over time, like you said looks like a good start though, can't wait for mine!...

just out of curiosity, did anyone else get a build manual? i'm sure I can figure it out, I just did'nt want to get to the end and realize I should have used a different length screw somewhere.

wheelbase is going to be right around 12 inches. i don't really know what i'm going to do as far as body mounts until i get the chassis to roller stage. (actually i'm secretly waiting for someone else to figure it out so i can copy.)

Just some updates, some guys might got the wrong rear punisher shaft, we should have shipped all those who got the wrong one a new one already, so if you got an email, you know what it is coming your way.

We will be including a new parts list print out starting next week, so less chance sending the wrong parts.

A manual is in the work, but might not get ready until 1-2 weeks from now.

We are shipping more kit today, but we still behind. A lots more will be shipped next week, since BL19, Prowler are here now.

So far we got one bad chassis, we are doing more check now before we ship.

Ya this is getting really annoying, I ordered 5/22 and I've seen a number of guys get their kits who ordered days after me with the same options. I was told Wed. that it should be shipped in 2-3 days and now its Friday evening and still nothing. Jeff you just got tires??? RC4WD needs to realize the next time they sell something similar that they need to have their crap together before they start selling the kit or lots of people will be irritated. It was hard enough to drop $500 without my girlfriend killing me and then to see nothing for over a month, .......too bad RPP isnt the one selling these kits, their service is outstanding
