This thread is awesome!

Does anyone know, or if any of the original posters still around, which scx10 chassis is being used? Would the honcho rtr chassis work for the wheel wells?

Ever since there have been new Chevy bodies that have come available it seems the Clod based builds have pretty much disappeared. I have three builds that are on the back burner or in the idea stage utilizing Clod bodies. I'm hoping to see more Clod builds in the near future.

There is a resurgence of them coming back. I'm building one right now. I'll be doing a build thread soon on it, in hopes to get more people back on the clod game haha.

My original build. I stripped the chassis and sold it and kept the body. It's getting a leaf spring build.
Clod bodied Xtrail/AX10
My other build that stalled a bit.
Project Clod Hopper
The third body I have is cab only and I'm looking to do a scratch built truggy chassis with Wraith axles.

at the moment, clod bodies are getting hard to find, and expensive when you do find them.

The complete body kits are still on eBay. The price may be a little higher than I've seen in the past, but nothing crazy.

The complete kits still seem to be available, but individual parts seem to be in short supply. I had to order a bumper kit from the UK because nobody here has them. Bare bodies seem to be gone too.

I don't recall the complete body kits being $130+ shipped before, but then again, I wasn't really paying attention until recently.

Odd. I wonder why. Clods are a dime a dozen.

Yeah I think it was closer to $100 a couple of years ago for a new, complete Clod body kit like this on eBay. Not including shipping, the price seems to have gone up $15.

Still in primer because I had to get it ready for a comp. I'm about to put some color on it and add a grill I designed and printed.
