Default Bruiser wheel base problem

I am having a problem with my wheel base it's to short. I think everything is stock except for the Hi Lift leaf springs and the Axial transmission


my wheel base is 10 inches and the stock bruiser wheel base it 11.5

the rear axle is too far forward. move the whole rear spring back a couple inches until the shackle mount is all the way back. is it just me, or does the whole chassis look shorter?

Yep, looks like somebody shortened the chassis. The only thing you can do is try to move the rear springs as far back as possible, but you can also extend the chassis by cutting it in half and bolting spacers onto the frame rails.

X2. Someone has shortened the chassis. Try ebay and look for some side rails if all else fails.

That chassis was shortened in the middle for a YJ body.

Thanks for the tips:-P. I felt the chassis very carefully and felt a faint bump and it was probably shortened, I'm thinking of building a YJ now and im going to save my hilux when I get a right size chassis. What is the wheel base of the YJ?10.5?
