Default ABS vs Styrene

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post but I have been doing some searching and can't find anything about it. I am planning on building a body from scratch...1/10th scale Jeep Scrambler. I am not sure if I should use ABS or Styene. I bought some .060 ABS sheets a while ago and its seems pretty strong. What way would you guys go? Is ABS better for a build like this or Styrene. I just want it to be strong and durable. I was thinking maybe building the side panels and floor from ABS then using styrene to mold the fenders and hood and whatnot. I see most people using styrene so maybe thats the way to go? Can the two be bonded together using Plasti weld? Thanks for the help. Sorry if this is a stupid question.

I build a fair bit and have never heard of scratch builders using ABS. Doesnt mean they dont, just that I haven't heard of it as a normal thing. Styrene all over the place though. I use it for everything. The Tamiya bodies are ABS though so when adhering styrene to their bodies you need a solvent that works with different plastics like Plastruct Bondene. Styrene to styrene Tenax 7R is the best, but the Bondene works just as well there too.
