I have them on my Beckworks Toy and they look pretty much perfect! Sorry to jack the thread but I'll go snap some pictures.

Can you tell me the hardware size so I can order extras as well?

Thanks,

Unless they've significantly upgraded the hardware, I wouldn't waste my time with *replacements* from RC4wd.

McMaster Carr is your friend. I ordered a box of 100 class 12.9 alloy steel 2.5mm x 10mm metric bolts and bag of 100 class 6 steel 2.5mm nuts and for around $13 total I had enough quality hardware to do 4 sets of wheels. This combo threads together so nice and snug and you can tighten them right down with no fear of stripping. Makes these wheels even better especially if you take them apart once 'n a while.

It's actually a 2 year old thread.

As a new member I used the 'search' function to find some info I was looking for. That search brought me to this thread. I saw it was a couple of years old, but thought I'd try posting here rather than starting a new thread. I guess my thought process was correct since within 45 minutes I had the answer to my question posted.

Thanks for your contribution though.

Because they are a outstanding rim> As for the cheap hardware, when mine stripped I drilled and tapped the rims and center piece for 3MM. They look a little large but Heavy Duty IMO. Also had to turn the heads of the button screws doen so they would fit in the counter-sink.

2009-2012 is 3 years, but December 2009 to January 2012 is only 2 years and one month.

Therefore this thread is A LOT closer to two years old than 3 years old.

I just put a set on with the new iroks and first had the tire spin in the wheel. i love the look but they need to come with the hex vs pin setup. That and i had the problem of the wheel nut bakin off (thats on me) and stripping the pin insert.

I absolutely agree. The pin mount sucks and there was also a problem with the pin recess being too deep at one time causing binding on Axial axles.. I fought with that on one of my two sets until the hex mounts came out.

The hex mounts they offer as replacements are very nice and are fairly inexpensive at $12 or so for a set, but they should come with the wheels from the start.
