Default Tonka Jeep MRC

So I had this Tonka Jeep that I wanted to do a scaler with. It kind of fits on my MRC so I chopped it and here is where I am at. I realize it won't be a true accurate scale but I think it will look pretty sweet so I figure why not. Any pointers for me on this on how to reconnect or maybe just tube the rear end? any help is appreciated.

So I am thinking of tubing it out and then skinning it with flashing or lexan. here is a crude ms paint drawing of what I am thinking.

Cool. Good luck on the build. I remember I had one of those green Jeeps as a small kid. It was my favorite.

If you can figure out how to reconnect the pieces you could end up with a CJ 6. (no it's not mine)

Somebody with a tig could prolly do it for ya.

I have a couple more I could cut up too I guess... but this one was pretty rough to begin with so I don't feel too bad about it..

I did think about reconnecting it and possibly going for a CJ6 or even a CJ8 style body...I may tube it out and then put body panels on to make it look like one....thanks for the ideas!!

You could cut some patch panels from thin gauge steel and braze them in. You could weld them in also.
