Does anyone have info on how to make a scale working antenna to mount on a truck?

pics would help.

I saw someone wrap the antenna tube with left over antenna wire, then he covered it in shrink wrap

Are you talking like the Reign RC one?
Heres how the mount looks.

I guess you could wrap a rx wire around it and shrink wrap it.
