Default Scale questions

ok first off the 1:1 buggy im buildin a replica of is running 39 inch tires, proline flatirons 1.9 would be 42 inch tires but they look horrible on the buggy my 2.2 flattys are a 50 inch tire. what should i run? would 2.2s be un scale?


Next is where can i get shocks like this?

The closest your gonna find to a shock like that is RC4WD or junfac. but they are not skinny enough. The other issue is being that skinny wont work well because of the C-Clip involved would block any chance of oil transferring from section to section. I have seen some people build their own like that using pen shafts.

as far as the 2.2 go, thats up to you! I can see what your trying to replicate and some 2.2's are smaller than others while some 1.9's are larger.
