Any jeep that will fit a 1/6 (12 inch) Joe is 1/6th scale. I have ALOT of 12 inch figures, and have collected them for years. I paid 10 bux for my jeep @ a flea market about 5 years ago and am just now looking to turn it in to a RC. I have a RS10 that the wheel base lines up on but the chasis is all wrong and other than the wheels lining up it looks stooopid. Ya need a regular frame for these. Some tips when buying the Jeep.. 1: try to get a complete one. no more than 40.00 bux and 20 bux shipping. 2: MAKE SURE it's as complete as possible. WHY? 3: the parts are hard to get by their selves. 4: parts separate like a windshield frame, spare tire, jerry can, steering wheel, or seats, will cost as much as that incomplete jeep you bought. (most common missing) 5: Remember people like me collect these things and will pay BIG bux to make them complete. 6: look for a hasbro knock off like 21st century. ( the one in my pix) these ARE NOT collectable and are newer made from 2001 to present. See my post "building a scale crawler" in this forum for pix of a 21st century jeep and a hasbro sandrail. Don't get in a bidding war over one, these things are every where and remember your going to be cutting the snot right out of it. HTH later Rich |
