Awesome, Thanks! 1BJB - Great build! Thats what i'm looking for, the little things like the servo & battery plate placement are perfect tips. Also drilling out the stock cars. Nice. Thanks! chicostaxxs007 - I'm digging the Titus wheels. Are those the "off-name crushers". I've heard they are actually the same quality as the RC4WD's and some people like them better because of the different sizes you can get. How do you like those? |

Here's my fresh X-Trail build - still making shakedown runs. This will eventually have a Ramcharger body but for now I thought I'd make it funky... I present to you the world's first Honda Odyssey minivan crawler build! I made a platform out of an old newspaper box coin plate. The electronics will be in a waterproof box once I get the Ramcharger body on. The gang's all here. They are from Fisher-Price "Loving Family" series. They're velcroed in place, so you can move them around and mom gets to drive. iRiver thumpin' soundsystem.....hidden in a ReallyUsefulBox.com toolbox I got at Office Depot for $2. |

Great thread Killa... I am soon to start an X-tail build and this is helping me get alot of awesome ideas. My thoughts are, leaf sprung front, 4 link rear, possibly CR01 axles with a divorced transmission. Going to be running a Pro-Line CGR Bronco body. Undecided on wheel size right now.... Keep the X-trail post coming people.... |

Thanks! I've got one of those D90 hardbodies I think I'm gonna use. All my other chassis are not really set up for an 11" wb so this will have to do. I'm gonna use TLT axles and I'm also considering using an R2hd I have for the tranny instead of the axial unit. I don't think I've ever run accross an X-trail build using one although I'm sure someone has. I've got most all my parts so I'll start a build thread soon. My problem right now is we just moved into our new house and my garage isn't finished so I'm really limited in the amount of fab I can do. Good thing is for this build there shouldn't be alot of fabbing to do because I'm gonna use hpi bumpers and tough armor sliders so all I'll have left is a few small mounting pieces. Anyway good luck with your build and post some pics up when you get started. PS - Here is a pic of the body just sitting on the Trailbuster tires and steel wheels. I'm still considering what color to paint it though. Any Ideas? Quote:
