1985 Samuri Hard top 1:1 has dana 44 axles front and rear detroit locker front and back warn hardened axle shafts 5.88 gears. Running the fron suspension out of a 2000 Jeep TJ and leafs out back. drivetrain is a 4.0 out of a 98 ford explorer. truck has set since last year have all parts for completion just need to get motivated hard to do when you have 2 other running rigs

Looks very sturdy to me. Put in a 1600 16v from a vitara and that thing will fly! ;)

the body is a Axial Trail Ranger but the front look's like a Zook to me

Yes, Yes, and Yes!

Yep I got it several years ago as a fathers day present. It was bone stock and didn't run. Several years later I have built it up and wheel it every chance I get!

Ooo I can play here...

85 zookie here,1324cc, 1.0 xfer,SPUA, 2" B/L, NT open centers, 31 procomps.. althou this model was occasioanlly rebadged as a 'Holden Drover' down here. From factory it came with the soft windows, but since replaced with full doors as the originals were becoming somewhat hard to see out of... It has a couple of various tops to..








couple of zookie only trips..







This one is a 1.0 completely stock.. WAS mine till some bastard decided they needed it more than me... :( SHATTERED :(

WOW, those are some nice looking scale Samurais. I had never thought of them as a real 4x4 in 1:1 but some of the ones in this thread are awesome
