|  Has anybody seen 1/10 ratcheting tie down straps?
Here is a pic in case you don't know what I'm talking about:  If nobody sells 1/10, any suggestions on how I would make my own, particularly what to use as straps? |

The ones I'm thinking of are the kind you find at Walmart, not the kind you see on big rigs. This is the kind of thing you strap a mattress to the top of an SUV with, not strapping logs onto a trailer. They are about 2" wide and about 8' long before winding the ratchet. That would make the scalers 3/32" wide and just over 9.5" long. |

I'd love to find some, or see some home made ones. I saw some in the for sale section last week, looked home made but pretty close.

I also saw what looked to be commercially made ratchet straps lately. Pic was with one holding down a spare tire on a flatbed. There are some sweet DIY versions out there too. Here is a clever way to make something similar but not exactly ratcheting strap:   |

Ultimatly I'd like to find something like this. These are what I use on my 1:1 and would like to replicate them.

I'd really go for those. I'd rather have one of those tire ratchet straps that goes around the tire. I tried to make some myself but got stuck when it got to the ratchet part.
