| my TT build thread........
well might as well start one....here is my 1/2" square tube bent into frame shape.... got it drilled out for mounting tubes to be brazed in for the leaf spring mounts, then brazed.... went to home depot and found some 3" x 1/16" thick metal cutoff wheels....chucked it up in my drill press and cut frame down the middle.... leaf spring mounts so i don't need spacers.... so far that is where i'm at folks........bob .... |

made the rear cross member to mount shocks to the frame....started with 1/2" square tube and drilled adjustable mounting holes.... did the drill press dance with the 3" cut off wheel to cut it in half and notched it to fit the frame rail.... laying in the frame bout where it will be brazed in.... not sure if i'm gonna do the front the same or do shock hoops....still debating on long travel shocks or not.........bob .... |

well got my transfer case done, nothing special just a set of 23t/13t gears inside....just need to shorten the shafts to length and make alum threaded pipe spacers to 3mm.... i'm using mod .8 which equal 32p gears pretty darn close....i'm using a mix of 32p 1/8" bore and mod .8 5mm bore gears in my gear driven servo winch ....my transmission will be the same as this unit, but it will be incorporated into the motor plate to save a bit of weight and an extra 1/8" alum plate part.........bob .... Looking sweet do u plan putting holes in the leaves to mount them. I cant figure out how to drill the holes in them cause of the spring metal being hard.
