No I don't need a how to but I do need some under body pics of your pinch jobs, I'm in the process of pinching my hilux but can't figure out how to glue and fill in the gaps. This is what I got so far

I've not done this to a body yet, and im sure there are better ways to fill a gap that big, but i've put a backing behind a gap or hole....filled it with super glue and put baking soda in it while wet.....dries into like a plastic and is just as sandable

Got pics of the under body? And did you heat the plastic up so that can form to the curves or what did you do?

I used 030 to shape the curves, you can heat bend styrene but it can be a pain to get it right.

When filling those gaps, apply a piece slightly larger than the gap to the inside, let it dry and than make a filler piece to the same size as the gap and glue it in from the top.

I'll get pics as soon as I can.

yea this pinch is a bit more complicated and will have gaps.

You can use what you have but it won't be exactly like mine, mines a bit different, but it should still work just fine at the very least use it to practice on.

So far it looks good, you just gotta fill those gaps, like I said cover them from behind and than cut pieces to fill.

I'll get pics as soon as my kids settle down.

well I need some new pics, one of you guys just bending the fender inwards because I'm tired of that one and I'm trying to get my build finished for next weekend for my first ever anything with a damn rc truck so I'm wanting to switch to my other hilux cab and pinch it but by using the cutting and then pushing the fender inwards like stang killa but with more pinch lol
mainly just need to see where the relief cut goes so you can bend the fender

See if this pic helps, I stretched the wheel well so I could get larger tires in there.

I also cut the hood to keep the original body lines, removed and moved the fender flares up, and reshaped the nose to fit the cut down grill.

My build thread has the detailed pics, but if there is anything else you need let me know.
