Team Scale Endurance Challenge. With pics Over the weekend I held a scale Team Endurance comp at my farm. It had 10 gates, 3 bonus gate, lots of mud/water/logs/sand/hill climb. ect. The general rules where: it had to be a scale rig. You where only allowed to touch your rig for a repair or battery change. You had to use a winch or tow strap to roll yourself back over. There was no set trail inbetween the gate but you where not allowed to go under fence lines. Both members of the team had to clear the gates. Only one team member had to clear the bonus gates. It was a timed event and the final time was over 3 hours. The overall course was 1.25 miles long. Very fun we are going to do another in the coming month. Here is a link to all my photos. This is held in Junction City, Or. so if your interested in coming to one of these are you are fairly close by let me know or keep an eye out for it. I also have lots of camping for people coming from farther away. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showt...=1#post3095343 http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d6...1/IMAG0139.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d6...1/IMAG0148.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d6...1/IMAG0157.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d6...1/IMAG0159.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d6...1/IMAG0188.jpg |

Good pictures! |
Thanks it was lots of fun, can't wait for the next one. |
Looks fun. Cool trails |
Awesome idea! I'd like to get an event like that going where I'm at. |
Dang. I want a farm;-) Looks like a good time!! |
that's a great idea! i've thought about doing something like this before but could never get everyone on board. |
Its pretty easy to get going. Just set up 10 gates around a big area and tell them they have to do them in order, no set trails. I wanted more people to come but even with 6 people it was fun. The only problem is you need a judge for each team and it was pretty tough to get people to come out and help. Next time it will be better organized. |
