| Dogbone cup or driveshaft end that fits HPI GRU 1/8 shaft ?
Getting the COG lower on my f150 rig going with a GRU into a transfer. Transfer is 5mm in. What do someof you use on the 1/8 GRU output shaft? Does anyone make a standard dogbone cup for 1/8? Fallback is shimming or filling the cup end with JB Weld and center drilling it 1/8. |

A few companies make a 1/8 to 5mm adapter for motors. I believe associated, and robinson racing makes one. Associated # 91161 Robinson # 1200 |

Yup, Skid's right...Robinson, AE, Losi, Nohack, 3racing etc. make a 1/8-5mm adapter...They're designed to adapt up 5mm bore pinions to a standard size motor shaft. If you know someone with a lathe they can probably make one for you. EDIT: 5mins search on ebay netted me this: http://toys.shop.ebay.com.au/Toys-Ho...pinion+adapter Last edited by WIDELOAD; 06-15-2011 at 06:53 AM. |
