Default Coil over to just coil suspension?

I have a 73' bronco with Axial's axles and i was wanting to convert it from the axial coil over scaler shocks to just the coils like a real bronco would be. Now i was looking at Grizzly4X4's bronco which has coil suspension but i just couldn't tell how he mounted the spring. I can make the mount that bolts onto the chassis and axle but its attaching it to the mount is what i don't get?

And so both of these will bolt onto the Axial axle with little modification or will i need to by the CR-01 axles? And what about springs?

I used a spring mount from a traxxas stampede. Trimmed it down and attached it to the axle with a buttonhead and a washer in each hole on top of the axle. Even used a spacer under one side to adjust for the pinion angle. On the chassis side I used some L shape aluminum rail and cut a small piece. Drilled both sides of the L and slap on another spring mount. As for springs, the slash proline front springs work. You use the taller of the set. They were too stiff for me so I ordered a set from centuryspring. You set the specs and find what matches your range. Its tough to dial in the suspension when using a separate coil and shock. It's more to look scale than perform at peak level against a coilover. Just my experience. Check out the build.

You can just make them, it's really easy. Look at your rig, think about it, and try it out it's REALLY easy, I run coil's infront of an unsprung shock, as sort of a damper. It works great, too.
